Welcome
Here's who I am & what I do
I’m currently pursuing a Master’s in Data Science & AI Strategy at emlyon business school (Paris) and McGill University (Montreal), after graduating with distinction in Business Administration from the Mediterranean School of Business (MSB), Tunis. For the past three years, I’ve worked as a Research Assistant, applying machine learning and predictive modeling to generate impactful economic insights.

Biography
Born and raised in Tunis within a loving family, my father worked as a veterinarian while my mother taught French. My sister Eya, who is eight years older than me, was also a part of our close-knit family. As a child, I enjoyed spending time outdoors and playing with friends. My early years were filled with joy and exploration, set against the backdrop of Tunisia's beautiful landscapes, numerous beaches, and delicious cuisine. I have fond memories of watching cartoons on Spacetoon, GameOne, and Manga channels, mostly in French and Arabic. The excitement of gaming grabbed my attention the moment I laid eyes on my first console (Sega Mega Drive), igniting a passion that has lasted a lifetime.
Passion
As a 5-year-old, I played my first game on a Sega Mega Drive at my cousin's house, and I was completely hooked. Needless to say, my cousin's house quickly became my favorite destination. This passion grew with me, and my father supported it by rewarding me with a new console each time I excelled in my studies. Eventually, I owned every generation of PlayStation and Gameboy. Fast forward to my adult life, I turned my passion for gaming into a career, winning tournaments with cash prizes of up to $80,000.

Education
I’ve always been the kind of person who seeks to stand out – so it’s no surprise which kid I was growing up. I completed all my schooling in Tunis, culminating in my baccalaureate.
That’s when I pivoted toward a career in video gaming, immersing myself fully in the competitive esports scene. Yet, I felt the pull toward academia and business, leading me to enroll at the Mediterranean School of Business (MSB) to pursue a degree in business administration – the path I had always envisioned. Despite switching disciplines, I was honored to graduate as valedictorian of my class.
Building on that foundation, I am now pursuing a Master’s in Data Science & AI Strategy at emlyon business school (Paris) and McGill University (Montreal).

Projects
As a research assistant, my collaboration with researchers from the Technical University of Berlin aimed to strengthen the export capabilities of Tunisian SMEs to Sub-Saharan Africa, funded by GIZ funds (German Agency for International Cooperation). This work involved three distinct projects. Firstly, the e-commerce-focused project aimed to enhance the digital skills of Tunisian businesses to expand their exports. In parallel, the Export Quality Support project explored the possibility of encouraging SMEs to invest in the quality of their exports through information, advice, and co-financing. Finally, the third project, Female Consortia, focused on the ability of export consortia to provide female-led businesses with the necessary elements to succeed in the field of exports.
