In the last two years, I worked as a research assistant within the MSB Research Center. We utilized Randomized Controlled Trials (RCTs) in three distinct projects to investigate factors that could facilitate Tunisian SMEs in exporting more to Sub-Saharan Africa.

Resarch Question:

Can export consortia provide female-led firms with the knowledge necessary for export?

Key responsabilities:

Draft and design 2 questionnaires.
Train and supervise enumerators.
Conduct backcheck calls to verify quality.
Gather, refine, and evaluate data.
Present findings to partners.

Resarch Question:

How to enhance Tunisian businesses digital skills for expanding exports to Sub-Saharan Africa?

Key responsabilities:

Prepare the literature review of 32 papers.
Conduct qualitative interviews with 20 CEOs.
Run and interpret regression analysis.
Share research experience with colleagues.

Resarch Question:

Can information, consultancy, and co-finance induce SMEs to invest in export quality?

Key responsabilities:

Code via Python and STATA the extraction of firms geolocation, automating the process of drawing firms maps.
Run heterogeneity regression analysis.
Prepare presentations using LaTeX.
